Meet Dr. Kayla

Dr. Kayla grew up in Cherokee and graduated from Washington High School in 2001.  She then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Iowa in May of 2006.  Kayla then graduated in November of 2009 with her doctorate of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnesota.  During this time she also became a certified acupuncturist.

Dr. Kayla has recently joined the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Iowa Chiropractic Society.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys being with her family and friends, and leading an active life.  She and her husband Kellen are excited to be new parents of a baby boy, Wyatt.  She is happy to be back at home and looks forward to providing natural, cost-effective healthcare to the Cherokee community and the surrounding areas.  Kayla has a special interest in sports related injuries and prevention but also enjoys treating babies and adults alike.
